India Gate A memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers who were martyred in the Second World War, famous as the All India War Memorial, designed by Edwin Lutyens in 1921, height 42 meters.  
   

Jama Masjid

A mosque built by Shahjahan which can accommodate 20,000 worshippers.  
     
Jantar Mantar An astronomical observatory with instruments built of stone by the great royal astronomer, Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur in 1724.  
       
Lotus Temple Situated atop Kalkaji Hill, also known as Baha’i Temple, completed in 1986.  
       
Qutab Minar A 11th century victory tower, the tallest (73 meters) stone tower in India.  
       
Raj Ghat Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation, was cremated here in 1948.  
       
Rashtrapathi Bhavan Official residence of the President of India. It also hosts the Mughal Garden, oen of the most precious collections of seasonal flowers.  
       
Red Fort One of the most important forts in India, built in the 17 century, houses several private and public royal halls, mosques, and gates.  
       
Akshardham Temple The Akshardham Temple in New Delhi, India, constructed by the BAPS foundation - the builders of the various Swaminaryan Temples across the world, is truely a modern day Wonder of the World.
